Before You Request an Inspection
- Your permit must be issued and posted visibly at the job site before any inspection.
- The work to be inspected must be complete and ready — do not cover or conceal work before it is inspected.
- A responsible party (owner, contractor, or authorized agent) must be present or available by phone during the inspection.
- Provide your permit number when requesting an inspection.
- Inspection requests submitted before noon are typically scheduled for the next business day.

Building Inspection & Plan Review Retainer Options
Retainer hours may be used for any combination of services including permitting, plan review, inspections, consultation, or Building Official services. Hours do not carry over month to month.
