Municipal Services We Provide
We serve as the building department and code enforcement office for municipalities and counties that contract with us — providing the full range of services a government building department delivers.
Building Inspections
Certified inspectors review residential and commercial construction at every required stage — foundation, framing, rough-in, and final — to ensure compliance with the Georgia State Minimum Standard Codes.
Code Enforcement
We investigate complaints and proactively identify code violations including unsafe structures, zoning violations, nuisance properties, and property maintenance deficiencies.
Permit Processing & Issuance
We issue permits for new construction, additions, renovations, demolitions, and specialty work. Our team reviews applications and guides applicants through the approval process.
Plan Review
Before construction begins, our plan reviewers examine submitted drawings and specifications to verify compliance with applicable codes, local ordinances, and state standards.
Floodplain Management
As NFIP-certified floodplain managers, we administer local floodplain ordinances, review development permits in flood zones, and maintain compliance with FEMA requirements.
Contracted Municipal Services
We serve as the outsourced building department for municipalities that need professional code enforcement without the overhead of a full-time in-house department.
